Divorce Mediation
In Divorce/Separation Mediation, couples work together with a mediator to reach agreements regarding parenting issues and schedules, financial issues such as child support, division of property, spousal maintenance, tax implications and others. These decisions are put into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the mediator. The MOU summarizes the agreements reached by the parties in meditation, and can be incorporated into a legal document. The process encourages empowerment by the involved parties to create an agreement that works best for their specific situation. Every family and couple is different.
Family Mediation
We all know how difficult being part of a family can be. Conflict within a family is to be expected and is a normal part of family life. Many issues can be resolved with no outside help needed, but there may be times when mediation can be helpful in resolving old or new issues between partners, siblings, parents-children and others. We all need help sometimes. Mediation can be used to resolve issues that seem to linger and can’t be resolved easily. Working with a mediator to resolve issues and communicate now and for the future can be very beneficial.
Marital/Partner Mediation
Couples deal with conflict and have disagreements every day. Mediation can be used for those issues that recur or can’t seem to be resolved. The mediator can help guide you to a resolution for both of you and come up with a solution that best meets the needs of both parties. You will also learn communication and cooperation skills that you can leave with and carry over to utilize in the future.
Relationship Coaching/Consulting
We all need help sometimes with life decisions that seem too big to handle. Discussing and outlining your options with a professional can help you identify what your needs are and figure out the best way to meet those needs.
